I found this book to be quite detailed both in direction and step-by-step photographs/5(14). The book talks about how you can only get MDF from specialty stores and only if you place large orders - HA.
The info on marquetry is just poor and covers only one method. The Veneer section does not even mention vacuum press. If you want to learn how your grandfather did it this is the book /5(5).
